Privacy Policy
1. Who We Are and Scope
Dream Spike (“Dream Spike,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the mobile games and related services that link to this Privacy Policy (the “Services”). Dream Spike is the operator responsible for the personal data described in this Policy. You can contact us at dreamspikegames@gmail.com.
This Policy explains what data the Services and their service providers collect, why it is used, when it is shared, how long it is kept, and the choices and rights available to you. A notice that asks you to review this Policy is an acknowledgement only; it is not consent to personalized advertising. Where consent is required, the app asks for it separately through a privacy choices message.
2. Data We Collect
The exact data depends on the game, your device, your settings, your region, and the features you use. We may collect or receive:
- Device and app information: device model, operating system and version, app version, language, country or region, network type, IP address, time zone, and identifiers such as a Firebase installation ID, app instance ID, or advertising ID when available and permitted.
- Gameplay and usage information: game progress stored on your device, levels started or completed, session activity, virtual currency balances, tutorials, settings, button interactions, ad rewards, and other in-game events.
- Advertising and attribution information: ad impressions, clicks, format, placement or ad unit, mediation network, estimated ad revenue, consent choices, install referrer, source/medium, and campaign information such as campaign name or campaign ID.
- Diagnostics: crash reports, stack traces, device state, app logs, performance and error information, and identifiers used to group duplicate crashes.
- Purchase information: product purchased, price, currency, purchase status, order or transaction identifier, and purchase token or receipt information needed to verify and fulfil an in-app purchase. We do not receive your full payment-card details from Google Play.
- Information you provide: your email address and the content of messages or attachments you send when requesting support, a refund, or a privacy request.
We do not ask the game for your contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or precise GPS location. Advertising and analytics providers may infer a general location from an IP address.
3. How We Use Data
- provide, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the Services;
- save progress locally, deliver game features, and apply remote game configuration;
- measure gameplay, retention, installs, advertising performance, and campaign effectiveness;
- find crashes, errors, abuse, fraud, and invalid advertising traffic;
- show, measure, and where permitted personalize advertising;
- process, verify, restore, and support in-app purchases;
- respond to support and privacy requests; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.
4. Legal Bases
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process data as needed to provide the Services or a purchase you request, for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, measuring, and improving the Services, to comply with law, and with consent where required for personalized advertising, analytics, device storage, or similar activities. You may withdraw consent through the available privacy controls; withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before it was withdrawn.
5. Advertising and Privacy Choices
Our free games may show ads through Google AdMob and its mediation partners. Depending on your region, the app may display a Google User Messaging Platform privacy message before requesting ads. Where the option is available, you can revisit your choices from the game’s Settings or privacy options screen. You can also manage your Android advertising and Google ad-personalization settings on your device or in your Google account.
If you decline personalized advertising, you may still see contextual or non-personalized ads. Limited information may still be processed to deliver ads, limit repetition, measure performance, prevent fraud, and comply with your choices. Resetting or deleting an advertising identifier may change the identifier available to advertising partners.
We do not sell personal information for money. Disclosures to advertising partners for personalized or cross-context advertising may be treated as “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” or a similar activity under some U.S. state laws. Where required, the in-app privacy message provides a choice to opt out. You may also email us using the contact details below.
6. Service Providers and Data Sharing
We share data only as needed with providers that operate features of the Services, process data for us, or act independently under their own privacy terms. The providers used by a particular game may include:
- Google Firebase and Google Analytics: Firebase Analytics/Google Analytics for usage and attribution, Firebase Crashlytics for crash diagnostics, Firebase Remote Config for configuration, and Google BigQuery when analytics exports are enabled. See Firebase Privacy and Security and the Google Privacy Policy.
- Google AdMob, Google Ads, and Google User Messaging Platform: ad delivery, mediation, consent choices, measurement, fraud prevention, and install/campaign attribution. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
- GameAnalytics: gameplay analytics, progression events, errors, and ad-revenue measurement. See the GameAnalytics privacy information.
- Unity Ads: an advertising network available through AdMob mediation. See the Unity Privacy Policy.
- Liftoff Monetize (formerly Vungle): an advertising network available through AdMob mediation. See the Liftoff Privacy Policy.
- Google Play Billing: payment processing and purchase status, accessed by the app through its Unity IAP integration. Google Play handles your payment credentials and provides the app with transaction details needed for fulfilment. See the Google Privacy Policy.
We may also disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, investigate fraud or security issues, protect users or our rights, or complete a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. We do not share support communications publicly or with other players.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including providing the Services, measuring performance, resolving support requests, maintaining security, fulfilling purchases, and meeting tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, or legal obligations. Retention varies by data type and provider:
- local game progress and preferences remain on your device until the app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled, unless a game expressly offers cloud storage;
- analytics, advertising, attribution, consent, and diagnostic data follow our configured retention settings and the provider terms linked above;
- purchase and transaction evidence may be retained as required to fulfil or restore purchases, prevent duplicate fulfilment or fraud, and meet legal obligations; and
- support messages are retained while needed to resolve the request and for a reasonable period to document the resolution.
When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize data under our control. Aggregated data that can no longer reasonably identify a person may be retained for reporting and game improvement.
8. Your Rights and Deletion Requests
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of personal data, object to or opt out of certain processing, withdraw consent, and appeal a response. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
To make a request, email dreamspikegames@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy Request” or “Data Deletion Request.” Include the game name, platform, country, and enough non-sensitive information to help us locate the relevant record. For a purchase issue, you may include the Google Play order number. Do not send passwords or full payment-card details.
You can remove locally stored game data by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling it. Some provider records may use pseudonymous identifiers that we cannot reliably connect to your email, and aggregated or de-identified data cannot be restored to an identifiable form. We may retain limited information where required by law, to complete a transaction, or to protect against fraud. We may need to verify a request before acting on it.
9. International Processing and Security
Dream Spike and the providers listed above may process data in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, appropriate contractual or legal safeguards are used for international transfers. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect data, but no storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. Children
The Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in violation of applicable law. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can investigate and, where required, delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes to the Services, providers, or law. We will post the revised version on this page and change the “Last Updated” date. Where required, we will provide additional notice in the app.
